I was invited by BAFTA to give a talk under their ‘BAFTA Guru’ program.

I decided to talk about game design and highlight the need for these core concepts:
‘Chance’ – for added drama
‘Decisions’ – for added satisfaction
‘Emergence’ – for added complexity
‘Autonomy’ – for added charm, and
‘Gradients’ – for accessibility and progression
